A compact hot plate for use when making microscope slides. Has two temperature ranges. A fixed 30C setting for gently drying slides and a variable 45C to 75C range for melting glycerine jelly or evaporating water from pollen slurries, etc.
It is possible to place up to four slides on this simultaneously.

An economy version of our popular hot plate for use when making microscope slides. Has a fixed temperature of 60C for melting glycerine jelly or evaporating water from pollen slurries, etc.
It is possible to place up to three slides on this simultaneously.
Power required: 5v 1.5A.
A power adapter is NOT included with this economy hotplate. The hotplate is designed to be used with a suitable Smartphone or Tablet USB charger. The charger must have a power rating of at least 1.5A (1500mA).
